(24/7 News) -- Local law enforcement reported flooding at multiple locations Monday night.

Several roads were closed due to high water in central and eastern Ross County and western Hocking County, including a road washed out in western Hocking County. Some areas reported between 2-3 inches of rain fell in a short span of time.

Some street flooding was also reported in Chillicothe and area villages during the evening.

Runoff from the earlier excessive rain and more rain today will cause flooding to continue.
