Various heat index's across the state will top triple digits and that has various organizations putting out warnings. Triple-A says you should be ready with supplies, in case you suffer a break down. That includes a minimum of five bottles of water for each person in the vehicle.

Jennifer Moore is warning people about leaving children and pets in hot cars, even if it's just for a few minutes. Last year, there were 52 preventable deaths of children in vehicles, up 21 percent from the year before.
