Prosecution Wants Bond Revoked for Suspect Connected to the Rhoden Murders

-

Alleged phone calls between one of the suspects in the Rhoden family murders and an elderly family member, also facing charges related to the murders, is causing prosecutors in the case to call for a revocation of bond.

-

NBC4 in Columbus reports that prosecutors are requesting the bond for Rita Newcomb to be revoked after they say she conducted phone conversations with her daughter, Angela Wagner, when she had been ordered not to have any contact with any of the four family members charged with murder in the case.

Newcomb is charged with felony obstruction and perjury. She has entered a plea of not guilty. She was released from custody last November after posting a $50,000 bond.
