(24/7 News) -- Ohio retailers are preparing to participate again in the state's sales tax holiday.
Starting Friday, August 2nd and ending at midnight on Sunday, August 4th, shoppers will not be charged sales tax on clothing items less than 75-dollars or on school supplies under 20-dollars.
The discount applies to purchases made in-store and online. Before 2018 the Ohio sales tax holiday had been a temporary measure subject to renewal. The state legislature unanimously approved a bill last year making the tax free weekend perpetual.
