The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-motorcycle crash from just before 4pm Sunday that occurred on State Route 138, two tenths of a mile south of Asbury Road.

A motorcycle driven by 38-year-old Ryan Dennison of Columbus was negotiating a curve southwest on State Route 138 when he struck another cycle traveling in the same direction, driven by 37-year-old Robert Nelson of Canal Winchester.

Dennison was thrown off of his motorcycle when it traveled off the left side of the roadway. Nelson’s motorcycle also traveled off the left side of the roadway after impact and came to rest along the left side of SR 138.

Dennison was flown to OSU Wexner Medical Center in Columbus for his injuries. Nelson refused medical treatment at the scene.
