The State Fire Marshal’s Office is seeking public tips regarding a fire at a Copperfield Drive duplex in Chillicothe.

The fire started during the early morning hours on August 15th inside one of the duplex’s garages. Though the duplex was occupied at the time, no injuries were reported.

The investigation is being conducted jointly by the offices for the State Fire Marshal and the Ross County Sheriff. The Blue Ribbon Arson committee is offering a $5000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction. Leads should be delivered via the fire marshals tip line at 1-800-589-2728.
