The four inmates who forcefully escaped a southern Ohio detention center over the weekend have been recaptured.
Authorities in Cary, North Carolina, near Raleigh, said three of the escaped inmates, Brynn Martin, Christopher Clemente and Troy McDaniel were apprehended early Monday morning. The fourth inmate, Lawrence Lee, evaded capture a little while longer but was later caught by authorities in Durham, North Carolina, early Monday afternoon.
The group escaped from the Gallia County Jail early Sunday after overpowering two female corrections officers with a homemade weapon. Officials say at least one person on the outside helped them escape.
