Pickaway County residents will be provided an opportunity to rid themselves of any old or unwanted tires during the second week of October.

Pickaway Public Health and SunDown Tire Recycling are partnering for a Pickaway County Tire Collection Day on Saturday, October 12th at the Pickaway County Engineer’s Garage.

Most passenger vehicle tires will be disposed of for free with a fee applied for larger and heavier tires. Truck tires, from sized 19.5 to 24.5 can be disposed of for a fee of $10.00, while tractor tires will require a fee of $35.00.

The Pickaway County Tire Collection Day is for Pickaway County residents only, and takes place between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. The Pickaway County Engineer’s Garage is located at 1660 Island Road in Circleville.
