Westfall's Kristin Phillips led the Mustangs net game with 17 kills in a (15-25, 25-17, 30-28, 25-15) win at home over Huntington, to clinch at least a share of the SVC championship. Adena's 21-25, 25-20, 25-11, 25-17) win at Zane Trace keeps them two back with two to play.

Westfall can win the title outright at Adena, Tuesday.

Huntington dominated almost every aspect of play on Set 1, only to see Westfall respond in Set 2. The second set was tied at 17-17, when the Mustangs finished on an 8-0 run thanks to a strong serving run and great net play.

A golden opportunity to regain the momentum in the match was lost by Huntington in Set 3. Huntington had set points at 24-23 and 27-26, only to see Westfall stave-off Huntington's effort to grab a (2-1) match lead, instead watching the Mustangs take that advantage, which carried over into the Set 4, 25-15 clincher.
