The Adena Local Board of Education has hired former Unioto coach Brad Jadwin as their new girls varsity softball coach.

Jadwin replaces Greg Storts, who was non-renewed by the board after being in the post for the last five seasons.

Approximately 50 people attended the Adena Board meeting, which was held in Clarksburg Tuesday, to speak on behalf of Coach Storts. The board voted 5-0 to make the change.

Brad Jadwin coached softball at Unioto for more than a decade, leading them to three SVC titles and was named SVC "Coach of the Year" four times between 2011-2016.
