A power outage of unknown origin has caused Paint Valley Local Schools to close, Wednesday October 16th. There had been rain overnight and Wednesday morning, but no word on if the outage was in anyway weather related.

Western Local School in Pike County was in session, but reporting that due to a tree being down on Aeurville Road, buses 1 and 12 had to switch routes and would be running 15-30 minutes late.
