Firefighters were on the scene of a blaze that destroyed a small two-story house on Circleville's Town Street, Thursday evening.

Firefighters responded around 6pm and were still on the scene a few hours later. There have been no reports of injuries or the cause of the fire and it was blocks away from the downtown activities of the Circleville Pumpkin Show.
