Two Chillicotheans have been arrested in Pickaway County after illegal drugs were found in the vehicle they were driving on U.S. Route 23, just north of State Route 361.

The Pickaway County Sheriff says James P. Shea II was the driver of the Lincoln Navigator and Brittany Smith was the passenger. Both were charged with Trafficking in a Schedule One Drug and Possession of Drugs. Both are felonies.

Following the traffic stop, a search of Shea's Chillicothe residence discovered 8 grams of suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia items.
