The founder and organizer for the Rock for Tots is announcing a change of venue for this year's annual Christmas fundraising event.

Paul Pollard says the event is being moved from the Elks Hall to the historic Majestic Theatre. The concert has been held at The Elks in Chillicothe, for decades. This year's concert is December 6th and Pollard says the format will remain the same.

Thirty five area children's organizations benefit from proceeds that are raised at the annual concert.

Pollard says large items auctioned off at the concert can easily be loaded onto trucks since recent renovations have been completed at The Majestic.

Doors open that night at 6pm.
