The Unioto Boys are state cross country runner-up for 2019. The Shermans, who finished second to Woodbridge, placed four runners in the top 30 to get them enough points to finish second.

Unioto joins the 1989 Piketon Boys and the 2011 Zane Trace Girls to finish as state runner-up.

The Shermans' top runner was Gabe Lynch, who finished 15th in a time of 16:24.8. Corey Schobelock was 17th at 16:25.8, then Eric Hacker 20th with a time of 16:29.6. Robert Immell was 30th in a time of 16:46, Clayton Lynch was 33rd 16:48.3.

In Division 3, Leesburg Fairfield Boys finished 9th in team standings, with Cohen Frost placing 10th and Ethan Davis 13th.
