Interim Pike County Sheriff James E. Nelson is reporting a homicide. A press release from the sheriff's office says the incident occurred in central Pike County, where the body of 39-year-old Charles "Michael" Meadows Junior, was located.

Pike authorities are seeking information from the public to locate Jon-Eric Burggraf as a person of interest in the case, and say Burggraf is being considered as "armed and dangerous".
