We have reports of a Pickaway County phone scam.

The caller has a police scanner playing in the background, and the caller claims there is a warrant out for the recipient's arrest unless fines or overdue county fees are paid using the “Coinflip” app.

The caller also gives out county judge numbers and information.

If you get such a call, hang up and call the Pickaway County Sheriff's department.
