Hocking Students Add Artistic Touch to ODOT Plows, Seek Votes for Favorite

School students in Hocking County recently participated in the Ohio Department of Transportation’s Paint the Plow community outreach program, putting their artistic touch on the department’s winter snow plows.

Students from Hocking County’s Central, Chieftain, Green, Hocking Hills and Union Furnace Elementary Schools, as well as students from Logan and St. John High Schools chipped in for the painting of the plows.

Facebook users are invited to vote for their favorite on the ODOT District 10 facebook page through this coming Monday, January 13th. Once a winning school has been selected, the plows will then be used at events within that school's community to enhance public awareness and promote safety.
