ODOT District 9's Planning Department and Environmental Office is seeking public comment for the partial relocation of Grassy Fork Road in Pike County and construction of a new structure over Sunfish Creek.
It is proposed to relocate a little more than 2000 feet of Grassy Fork Road in rural Mifflin Township and build a new structure over Sunfish Creek. The existing structure, built in 1955, would be removed after the new roadway and structure are completed.
No homes or businesses will be removed by the project and traffic will be maintained at all times on the existing roadway. The funding for the project is 80% Federal and 20% Local.
The environmental commitment date is April 1st of this year. The project is currently expected to be awarded on July 1st.
