The deadline for local submissions for the HGTV Hometown Takeover is fast approaching. Submission are due by February 7th at hgtvhometowntakeover.com
We invited Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce President & CEO, Mike Throne, into our studios during last Friday's edition of The Accurate Heating, Cooling & Plumbing Scoreboard Show on 94 Country WKKJ-FM to layout the full details on exactly how the Hometown Takeover works, and what local residents need to do if they'd like to give the Chillicothe community a chance to win.
You can hear Scoreboard Show hosts, Jacob Wise & Eric Cox, speak with Chamber President Mike Throne in the podcast link below.
In case you hadn't heard, HGTV is accepting nominations for Hometown Takeover, a limited series that will star Erin and Ben Napier, and document their efforts to renovate an entire town, from single-family homes to public parks and everywhere in between.
If you send in a nomination, can you drop the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce a line and let them know what you've submitted. No need to get super-specific about it, but a quick note that has your name, which building or buildings you've nominated and some contact info, that would be best. They're just tracking how many submissions from Chillicothe are sent out.
The Chamber is looking for anyone and everyone to submit their favorite projects with the hopes that the more submissions the producers see, the more they know the commitment and drive to make Chillicothe a better place.
Videos of the project chosen are strongly encouraged, and photos help your story.
