Piketon Pummels Panthers 72-19

The difference between the first quarter and the last three periods was stunning, as the Piketon Redstreaks hammered Southeastern 72-19, Friday.

Southeastern led Piketon 9-6 after the first quarter, only to see the Redstreaks outscore SE 28-2 in the second quarter, 19-2 in the third and 19-6 in the final period.

Piketon had four players in double figures led by Levi Gullion's 20 points, followed by 13 from Tyree Harris and 11 each from Brody Fuller and Shane Leedy.

Derek Wheeler led the Panthers with 7 points.

The Redstreaks shot 29/51 from the floor for 57%- including 12/19 from behind the arc and 2/2 from the foul line. Southeastern was 8/47 from the field for only 17%- including 2/14 from the arc and 1/4 from the line.

Piketon dominated the rebounds 32-19, Southeastern had 16 turnovers and Piketon with 9.

Piketon improves to (6-5/9-9). Southeastern drops to (3-8/4-14).
