Amputee Golfers Benefit Coming To The Area

There’s a benefit golf scramble for amputees that’ll be taking place in Williamsport this May. It’ll be hosted at the Crown Hill Golf Club, organized by the North American One-Armed Golfer Association.

.

The group has held events across the country with many amputees traveling long distances just to take part. Last year’s event featured a total of 100 golfers, and included many amputees such as Pickaway County’s Brandon Williams, whom with only one arm and one leg, maintains a 16 handicap.

.

This year’s North American One-Armed Golfer Association golf scramble will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, and does welcome non-amputee players as well. It’ll cost $240 for a four-player team to participate. If you’d like more information or sign-up to play, you can contact Brandon Williams at (740) 248-9132.
