ODOT Seeks Input on Beaver Pike Project

The Ohio Department of Transportation District 9 is seeking public comment for a proposed project along Beaver Pike in Pike County. It involves the proposed replacement of the structure at the 3.47 mile-mark in a rural area of Pike County's Jackson Township.

.

The structure that would be replaced is a continuous concrete slab supported on concrete substructures, built in 1954, and then rehabilitated in 1994. No new right-of-way would be required for the project and no homes or business would be affected. However, Beaver Pike would need to be closed for the duration of the project.

.

Written comments should be sent to the attention of Greg Manson, at the ODOT District 9 office on Eastern Avenue in Chillicothe by Monday, March 9th.
