Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library to Launch in Highland County

Ohio's First Lady Fran DeWine will join Highland County leaders at 9:30 a.m., Friday, March 6th, to announce the launch of the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library in Highland County. Officials say 2,900 Highland County children, from birth to five years old, are eligible to receive a free, new book in the mail every month. The OGIL Program, funded by the Ohio legislature, helps promote early childhood literacy. The State provides a dollar-for-dollar match with the local affiliate to put books in the hands of Ohio children.
