Mostly working Scioto Valley Conference games on 94 Country WKKJ, Tom Beard has been broadcasting high school sports for 35 years on WKKJ, but also broadcast Chillicothe High School and Bishop Flaget High School games on WBEX for another three years.

Tom has broadcast 2,000 games in basketball, volleyball, football, and baseball for WKKJ/WBEX. He was presented the honor by Southeast District Athletic Board Member Leonard Steyer during halftime of the Zane Trace-Ironton Division 3 District Championship at the Ohio University Convocation Center.
