Ohio Means Jobs Employment Expo at OU-Chilllicothe Cancelled

Now that the Covid-19 virus has reared its head in the Buckeye State, organizers of large public events are starting to reconsider whether it's worth holding those events.

As a precautionary measure to protect from possible contraction of the Coronavirus, Ohio Means Jobs is canceling its 31st annual employment expo which was set to take place at OU-Chillicothe's Shoemaker Center this Thursday, March 12th.

The event will be made up but a new date hasn't yet been announced. Three cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in northern Ohio's Cuyahoga County, none have been reported locally. However, three more possible cases are under investigation at Shawnee State University in Portsmouth.
