Dentists Urged To Postpone Elective Procedures During Virus Outbreak

The association representing Ohio's dentists recommends that they only respond to emergencies.

The Ohio State Dental Board released its recommendations on Monday, saying elective procedures, like routine cleanings and procedures for crowns, dentures, and bridges, should be postponed.

The board says dentists are at high risk for both contracting and spreading the virus. There is no legal directive behind the order, and the agency did not specify the directive's duration.

Contact your dentist to make sure this is their policy during the COVID 19 restrictions.
