Circleville City Council, due to recent COVID-19 concerns throughout the state, met in a special Teleconference meeting Tuesday night with Council president and all members participating.
Seven ordinances were up for first reading with the foremost being an authorization to the director of public services to advertise for bids to improvements for street, traffic signal and maintenance programs and declaring an emergency.
Others were read concerning billing for emergency medical transports and collection of services, also both read as declaring emergency status. These readings were passed.
The meeting ended with more discussion with the ongoing disposition of K-9 unit member Harry, his former trainer and possible future location to the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department.
