Pickaway County Health Department met in emergency session via teleconferencing last night.
Board members and the health commissioner discussed state directives already in place, but expressed concerns about golf courses and some businesses that are still open. The state health department has given each county health department the option of whether golf courses can remain open.
As of Wednesday night's meeting, Pickaway County was up to 13 confirmed cases, which almost six times higher than comparable size counties near them.
