OSU President Says Pandemic Likely To Impact College Football Season

(24/7 Sports) -- OSU President Michael Drake says he expects the Coronavirus pandemic to have some sort of effect on the upcoming college football season.

Speaking Thursday, Drake said the almost nationwide quarantine will have an impact, and the 2020 season will not play out the same way as last year. Drake said OSU is already preparing for a variety of scenarios but is confident there will be college football played with or without fans, or in a shortened or moved back season.

Drake sits on the NCAA's Board of Governors is considering postponing his June retirement until after the pandemic is over.
