Ross County Small Businesses Expect to Rebound by End of Year

The Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce is revealing a few details of a recently conducted Chamber survey of its small businesses impacted by the economic shutdown in response to COVID-19.

80-percent of survey respondents said their business had either closed, or remained open with reduced hours and staff - and 77-percent of respondents reported a loss of at least half their regular income during the closure.

70-percent of responding small businesses, however, said they estimate their business can regain their footing...with 35-percent saying they expect to stabilize by Labor Day of this year.

The other 35-percent told the Chillicothe Ross Chamber they expect to stabilize by the end of this year.
