The Jackson Post of The Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Chillicothe Street near the intersection of Grace Street in Jackson at 1:17am Saturday.
They report 47 year-old James W. Whaley of Jackson, was northbound on Chillicothe Street in a 2013 Ford F-150, where it traveled off the right side of the roadway striking a guardrail, then crossed both lanes and off the left side of the roadway striking a roadway sign and tree.
Whaley sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported by Jackson County EMS to Holzer Medical Center. Alcohol was a factor.
Agencies assisting at the scene were Jackson County EMS, Jackson Fire Department and Angles Towing.
