Overdose in Pike County Leads to Arrests, Confiscation of Drugs

A drug overdose at a home in Pike County on Sunday, May 17th led to multiple arrests.

Pike County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home at 6885 Beavers Ridge in reference of an overdose. That’s where they found the 30-year-old female victim unresponsive in the home's bathroom. She was taken to Adena Pike Medical Center for treatment.

While on scene, deputies found suspected methamphetamine, 91 marijuana plants, various drug paraphernalia and a 12-gauge shotgun, all of which were confiscated.

Deputies arrested James Conley on an outstanding warrant for drug trafficking. Two others, Amanda Jordan and Johnny Madden, were also taken into custody on charges of drug possession, cultivation, weapons under disability and child endangerment.

The case will be forwarded to the Pike County Grand Jury.
