Reports Say OSU has Found its New President

Sources tell the New York post that it will be Dr. Kristina Johnson, who has served as chancellor of the State University of New York system for the past three years.

Johnson is the former undersecretary of the U.S. Department of Energy in the Obama administration, and if the reports are correct, she will take over for Dr. Michael Drake, who announced last November he would retire after six years as OSU president.

There is no formal announcement yet from Ohio State, but there is a board of trustees meeting scheduled for today.

Johnson would begin her new job at Ohio State September 1st.
