WCH Man Killed in Pickaway County Crash

A Washington Court House man lost his life in a three vehicle crash in Pickaway County, Friday evening. The Ohio State Highway Patrol reports the crash occurred at approximately 6:50pm on U.S. Route 62, in Darby Township.

A Jeep Liberty SUV was headed southbound on Route 62 when the driver of the Jeep sideswiped a Toyota Camry traveling northbound, driven by 32-year-old Duh Cin of Galloway. The Jeep then hit a second vehicle head-on in the northbound lane of travel. The second vehicle traveling northbound was a Chrysler 200, driven by 46-year-old Matthew C. Williamson of Washington CH.  Williamson was transported to Mount Carmel Medical Center in Grove City where he died from his injuries.

51-year-old Chrysler, Patricia L. Newland of Washington Courthouse, a passenger in Williamson's vehicle, was transported to Grant Medical Center and treated for her injuries.

Duh Cin and two passengers in his car were treated and released at the scene.

The driver of the Jeep Liberty, 28-year-old Robert W. Horn of Orient, was transported to Grant Medical Center and treated for non-life threatening injuries. A passenger in the Jeep, 28-year-old Sarah E. Hogan of Orient was also transported to Grant Medical Center where she was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Two juveniles from the Jeep were also transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
