Hit & Run Driver Arrested in Chillicothe, Sent Back to West Virginia

A man wanted in West Virginia for a fatal hit-and-run incident, has been extradited back to Charleston from Chillicothe, Ohio.

44-year-old Che D. Lark agreed to the extradition after his arrest last Thursday on a warrant served in the West Virginia incident that claimed the life of 35-year-old Heather Ross of Charleston. She died a week after being hit by a car driven by Lark on March 6th, near Park Avenue and Grant Street on Charleston's west side.

Lark was charged with fleeing from law enforcement, which eventually caused death and possession- with intent to distribute.
