(Columbus, OH) -- State Health Officials say Ohio's hospitalizations from COVID-19 are at nearly 6,800, which is an increase of about 300 since last week.

In an update released on Sunday, Health Officials said 41,148 Ohioans have tested positive since the beginning of the pandemic, and 2,557 had died from complications related to the virus.

Last week, Governor DeWine announced Health Director Dr. Amy Acton was stepping down from her position to become Chief Heath Advisor, and anyone regardless of symptoms can now get a COVID-19 test if they wish.
