ODOT is proposing a pipe replacement project that would take place on State Route 772 at the 12.58 mile mark in Ross County’s Huntington Township. No homes or businesses would be removed but the project would require an approximate 25-mile state detour around the work zone while project is carried out.
The state detour would take motorists from Route 772 to State Route 220 to US 23, to State Route 104 to US 50 and back to Route 772.
A local 6-mile detour would also be established which would take local motorists from State Route 772 to Liberty Hill Road to Rozelle Creek and then back to 772.
The ODOT District 9 Office in Chillicothe is seeking public comment on the proposed project. Interested individuals should contact the District 9 Office on how submit a comment by Monday, June 29th.
