Shawnee State University in Portsmouth Ohio plans to return to campus in a phased approach over the summer leading to the start of fall semester.
University officials will be working over the summer to make necessary adjustments to classrooms, develop safety protocols and establish guidelines for faculty, staff and students.
From now through June 28th, many employees in non-public offices are returning to campus and students in some health and science courses are also returning.
Most public services on campus will re-open from late June through August to provide academic and student services.
The fall semester will begin August 24th with a combination of “in-person” classes and remote instruction.
