Pickaway County Fair Opens

The Pickaway County Fair is underway, with a modified schedule.

By request of Pickaway County Public Health all occupants entering the gates will be asked daily symptom questions to assess health. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and/or has been exposed to anyone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 in the past 14 days must stay home. It is recommended that anyone with health issues and/or that is more susceptible to illness stay home.

Attendees are also encouraged to wear masks when they are unable to maintain required social distancing.

Pickaway 4-H non-livestock project judging will not take place during the fair. Judging has been rescheduled to take place July 15th-17th. However, the 4-H Style Review Show will be on Tuesday while the 4-H Special Interest and 4-H Food & Nutrition & Creative Arts will be held on Wednesday.

Fair officials said Sunday evening they “want to show the nation how to conduct a safe county fair”.
