The Easy Rider Rodeo at the Ross County Fairgrounds, September 3rd-7th, has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.The announcement was made Thursday on the Easy Rider website.
The rodeo joins a growing list of events in the region which are being cancelled. Earlier in the week, the Circleville Pumpkin Show cancelled, along with Portsmouth River Days. Other cancellations announcer earlier this week include the Chillicothe Halloween Festival.
Red Alert Level 3 Emergencies were added in Scioto and Athens counties on Thursday, which require face coverings in public for the counties in that category. Pickaway, Fairfield and Franklin counties were already under the Red Alert status.
