Highland County Raised to Level Two Orange Status

Highland County is among several Ohio counties experiencing a rise in COVID-19 cases.

The county was elevated from a level one yellow status to a level two orange status on the coronavirus risk map for the state, Thursday. According to figures updated Friday by the state, there are currently 21 active cases of the virus in highland county.

Fayette County remains at a level one yellow status, with the county health department there now tracking eight active cases.
