COVID Pandemic Spurs Change at Chillicothe Children's Clothing Bank

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Children’s Clothing Bank is changing the way it operates.

Dr. Jason Link, Pastor of Chillicothe’s First Presbyterian Church, who runs the Clothing Bank in cooperation with the Chillicothe Ross County Public Library, says the Clothing Bank room at the Main Branch of the Chillicothe Ross County Public Library will not be open to the public. In order to receive items from the Clothing Bank for their child or children, parents or guardians will now need to complete a form which can be dropped in either of the return boxes at the library’s Paint Street and Northside branches.

The completed form must be dropped off by 5:00 p.m. on Mondays. Clothing items will then be collected and bagged by volunteers and made available for pick up at the main library Annex between 10:00 a.m. and noon on Wednesdays of each week.

The Clothing Bank forms are available at the Chillicothe Ross County Public Library and at First Presbyterian Church.

The first day for pickups will be Wednesday, August 5th so forms for that week need to be dropped off by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3rd.
