The Ohio Department of Transportation is seeking public comment on a proposed landslide remediation at the 10.3 mile mark of State Route 772 in Ross County. The project, located in Huntington Township, will also include pavement repair and guardrail installation.
No nearby streams would be impacted but the project would require around 3.5 acres of temporary right-of-way located along a forested hillside. No homes or business would be removed.
That section of Route 772 would be closed for the project with traffic detoured to State Route 104 to US Route 50 to Blain Highway and back to Route 772.
Simply contact ODOT District 9 for information how to comment on the project.
