Chillicothe emergency squads were called to the Pixelle Paper Mill in Chillicothe in reference to a death of a company employee.
A press release from Pixelle Spokesperson Alan Ulman confirmed that Ron Skaggs, a long-time employee of the mill, had died at the Chillicothe facility.
Details of Skaggs' death were not mentioned in the brief company news release, but the Ross County Coroner's Office confirmed an accident at the facility was the cause of death, which occurred at about 10:23am, August 17th.
In Pixelle's official press release, they simply stated that- "On behalf of all of us who worked with him, our thoughts and prayers are with his family.”
