Southern Ohio Arrests Made On Sexual Assault Cases

A Kentucky man has been arrested and charged with exchanging illicit images with a 14-year old Pickaway County resident along with a minor in Mississippi. 21-year-old Zachary Roach of McCraken County, Kentucky, was arrested and charged in Kentucky after the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office received a call from the 14-year-old victim's father, reporting activity he found on the family computer. 

In Scioto County, law enforcement has arrested two men in separate sexual assault cases.

40-year-old Ryan N. Thomas of Ironton is charged with two rape counts in connection with several incidents that allegedly happened over more than a decade. Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini said the incidents allegedly happened during a 10- to 12-year period. A detective interviewed several people who were ages 9 through 16 at the time of the alleged incidents.

In another case, a Pedro man has been charged with rape after deputies say he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old. 19-year-old Robert Sly is charged with first degree rape. Investigators spoke to the victim who said they had been sexually assaulted several times.
