The Pickaway County Visitors Bureau has announced the winners of its 2020 Best Pizza Awards. Five judges participated in a blind taste test featuring 23 pizzas from across the county.
Best Pepperoni goes to Pizza Cottage with Gibby’s Bacon, Chicken & Ranch Pizza claiming Best Specialty. The BBQ Pizza from Pizza Cottage is the winner of the Judge’s Choice.
Honorable mentions go Baseball’s Dairy Diamond, Dairy Shed Too/Ramrods, Mo’s Place and Pap’s Pizza.
The People’s Choice award will be announced the first week of September, and will be accepted though August 31st. Community members can vote for their choice by picking up a Pizza Passport at The Pickaway County Welcome Center and visiting at least four places from the list.
