(24/7 News Source) -- The Portsmouth Police Department is asking for the public's help locating anyone who may have been involved in a man's death over the weekend.
Officials sent out a release Monday saying the body of 33-year-old Derick Holsinger of West Portsmouth was discovered inside an apartment on Wayne Avenue last Saturday.
Officers said the door to Holsinger's apartment was unsecured when they arrived, and they are treating the case as a homicide.
Anyone with information about Holsinger or his death is asked to contact the authorities as soon as possible
