Area Division 2 boys golf teams and individuals were shut-out of qualifying for this year's state golf tournament. Only one team and one individual, not on a qualifying team, advanced to state in D-2 from the District Tournament at Crown Hill Golf Course.
Gallia Academy won the team title with a 341, while match medalist Trevin Mault of Wheelersburg advanced as an individual golfer, firing a 74.
SVC champ Unioto placed 6th, Hillsboro 7th, Piketon 8th, Circleville 9th and McClain 10th.
