The Pickaway County Sheriff is reporting the death of a 61-year-old forklift operator after he became trapped under the forklift, when it entered the water of a quarry at 1520 Island Road in Circleville.
The body of Roy E. Dingus Jr. of Circleville, was located by a diver from Fairfield County along with first responders from several Pickaway County area township fire departments.
Dingus had been in the water for more than one-half hour after the incident was reported to the Pickaway County Sheriff's Office at approximately 5pm, Saturday.
Dingus was pronounced dead at the scene, by the Pickaway County Coroner.
